Sue Pepper, Independent Agent

My journey into insurance began 5 years ago when I got divorced. I realized my life was changing and I needed to become self-sufficient. I didn’t want to be living in a refrigerator box under the bridge so I took matters into my own hands. I worked for a single insurance carrier but quickly realized insurance is not a one-size-fits-all solution. Many individuals need a more customized solution to truly be covered.

I chose to become an independent advisor to best help my clients understand my 3 legged stool approach, that in order to feel confident taking care of your family, there is more to it than just health insurance. My specialty is helping small businesses, self employed individuals, and families.

I take my education very seriously so I can be the best partner for my clients. I complete monthly trainings with each carrier I work with in addition to the 3-4 months a year of my continuing education to ensure I am most up to date and fully certified.

What is the benefit of working with an independent agent?

As an independent agent I have developed a deep personal relationship with the largest nationwide insurance carriers. This means you have an advocate helping you find the most complete coverage for your needs. This also means you have access to more competitive coverage and pricing! You get a CUSTOMIZED insurance plan for you!

My Family and More

My three wonderful children, ages 18 - 26 are my everything. All of my children are incredibly smart, talented, and have a sense of self beyond their years. They are kind, passionate, and driven individuals that bring me such huge amounts of joy. You can often find us in the backyard grilling, playing games, and enjoying copious amounts of laughter.

My four-legged child, Cayenne, is just as important to me and her energy lights up the room. Her favorite thing is to give sloppy face kisses.

In my spare time I love giving back to my community. My family and I routinely support local hunger solutions such as Feed My Starving Children and other local food banks. I also enjoy hiking and traveling as much as possible.

I am also a WW Coach. I lost 50 pounds back in 2003 after having a heart attack and felt so strongly about weight watchers and “it works if you work it” that it made sense to me to work for the company and give back what I learned and my passion for the WW plan. I help members achieve their own goals through food, fitness, and mindset.
